My name is Alexis Chan and I'm a Grade 8 student at Laurentian Senior Public School. I enjoy travelling, hanging out with friends and trying new things out of my comfort zone! This year I was lucky enough to travel all around Asia and now I have the opportunity to present my Ted Talk. My talk is about if our memories are actually real or not, and how we're switching from one reality to the other. |

Hi, I’m Barnaby, I am 9 and I’m in Grade 3 at Wellesley Public School. I really love school, especially learning new things and researching. My favourite subject is Math. I was born in England and moved to Canada when I was 18 months old. In my talk, I will be sharing some ways you can stop harming wildlife, I hope you enjoy! |
Brigid Hello, my name is Brigid Schrock, I am 8 years old and in Grade 3 in Wellesley Public School. I enjoy playing soccer and spending time in nature. I am also fond of doing math and writing stories. And I like spending time with my friends and having lots of fun! This year I went to Dominican and was on the beach and having some fun! Daelia Hi! I’m Daelia. I’m 9 years old and I live in Wellesley, Ontario. I am a big sister to my little sister Tilly. I enjoy games and activities that use my imagination, such as reading, writing and crafts. I also enjoy swimming and being outside with nature. I REALLY enjoy taking care of insects and animals. I also LOVE stuffies! My family says I have 10 000, but I’m sure that’s okay! |

Hello and Salam. My name is Hana Rauf and I'm 13 years old, in Grade 7 and attending Vista Hills Public School. I have 3 siblings and 2 very loving parents. I enjoy Math, Science and Language. My dreams when I grow up are to attend Harvard University and become a doctor. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, shopping with my family, listening to music and watching iiSuperwomanii. Jolie
This grade 7 student has seen much of the world in her young life. She enjoys writing and playing in her school drumline, but doing these 2 things are a little different and trickier for her than for some other people. Jonas
My name is Jonas and I have a big brother and his name is Samuel. I live in Wellesley and I am 8 years old. I love playing outside, especially basketball and baseball. My favourite sports to watch on the TV are hockey and basketball. Go Timberwolves! I recommend that you visit Wellesley for the Apple, Butter and Cheese Festival. Make sure you come early and get some delicious pancakes, they are the best! I really want to volunteer when I am older. I think it will be fun and feel good to help people. |
Kaitlyn My name is Kaitlyn Simowibowo and I am a grade 8 student attending Laurentian Sr. Public School. Baking, travelling and listening to music are a few things I really enjoy doing, not to mention, making YouTube videos as well. Throughout my whole life, I’ve been very fortunate to have travelled to many countries, so I decided to do my Ted-Talk on how travelling can change a perspective in a person’s life and the values that comes with it. |

Nolan Hi, my name is Nolan. I am 8 years old. My birthday is in August. I attend Wellesley Public School. This is my first school. I have one sister named Lauryn who is 6 years old. I love to go on my trampoline I can do even do a frontflip. I have a youtube channel with over 100 posts, they are mainly about gaming and comedy. My favourite game is Minecraft. Tulja Tulja is a grade 7 girl who is extremely passionate about the world of public speaking. She recently won the Optimist International speech contest, gaining her $ 1500 scholarship.
